Annual drinks party in the Penthouse. Members are invited to bring their families and friends and enjoy a glass or two of wine and a light bite and, of course, the superb views across London at sunset.

AGM at New Zealand House
The Annual General Meeting where members can raise issues of concern and give ideas for future events. The AGM will be followed by a sandwich lunch and a talk by Dr Lucy Wadeson about her research at Petra. Non members are invited to lunch at 12.30pm and to hear Lucy speak about her research and thesis on ‘The Facade Tombs of Petra: From Exterior to Interior’ at Oxford.

Evening at Bonhams
A sale preview at leading London auction house, Bonhams. Charles Thomas, Director of Furniture at Bonham’s Knightsbridge auction rooms will give us a preview and talk about the furniture to be sold the following day. A guided tour behind the scenes at the National Theatre. Our tour will take in many different backstage areas, with steps to be climbed and some areas where access may be difficult. Please meet in the foyer outside the bookshop at 12.15pm at the National Theatre, South Bank, London SE1 9PX.

Lunch and talk with James Laurenson
Lunch followed by a ‘chat’ with New Zealand-born actor James Laurenson at New Zealand House. James has had a long and successful acting career on stage, television and radio in the UK. This year he has followed up his Olivier Award-nominated double role of the Ghost of Hamlet’s father and the Player King in the National Theatre’s acclaimed Hamlet with a leading role alongside Zoë Wanamaker in the National’s production of The Cherry Orchard.
