  • Rt Hon Jacinda Ardern, the Prime Minister of NZ sent her warmest congratulations to all in the NZWA on the occasion of our 90th Anniversary celebration.
  • An on-line celebration was organised to mark the 90th Anniversary of the NZWA with NZ speakers, singers, poetry and a message of congratulations from NZ's Prime Minister.
  • Our NZWA President, Marianne Harper welcomed everyone to the on-line celebration, 11 June 2020 and gave special thanks to the NZ Business Women's Network, NZBWN, who hosted the event for us.
  • NZ baritone, Kieran Rayner, sang Hine e Hine.
  • The keynote talk was given by Tania Bearsley, Kea Regional Director UK/Europe
  • Yvonne Riley, past President 1982-84, gave some amusing recollections of NZWA

  • Barbara Lloyd played piano while we all sang Happy Birthday NZWA!
  • To end our program, NZ soprano, Maddison Nonoa, beautifully sang 'Pokarekare Ana'.

  • Marianne Harper was able to present a cheque for NZ$1,110, money raised from the NZWA 2019 Christmas raffle, to Ginny Rhodes, Executive Manager of Dress for Success, Christchurch in January this year.
