After our lunch on 6th June, we were treated to a talk by NZ entrepreneur, Tom Gibson who oversees the smooth running of Provenance Village Butcher shops in London. A carving demonstration followed of lamb and chicken by butcher Struan Robertson which was very entertaining and enlightening to all!
Provenance Village Butcher, an idea of Tom’s brother Guy, began in 2013 in Notting Hill and they now have three more shops in London. ‘Where’ the meat comes from is important and they are proud to offer the best seasonal produce from quality farms and suppliers. They try to achieve a sustainable business and strive to achieve a high level of service for their retail customers by offering great advice regarding cuts of meat, cooking guidance as well as inspirational recipes.
